Jason Brian • Editor-In-Cheif

Jason Brian was born in San Diego, CA and moved to south Florida with his family in the early 90’s.  Not complacent with taking an early retirement after the sale of his company AutoCricket.com, he wasted no time getting involved in a new business venture.  In 2014 the self-made millionaire founded Redwood Recovery Solutions (RRS), the parent company behind Behavioral Sightings.

 

Redwood’s consumer centered businesses let Jason focus on making a social and life changing difference for those who suffer from addiction. Throughout the years he has supported many local and national charity organizations and he is a current board member for The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, The Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, American Heart Association, and Place of Hope.

 

In 2011, Jason was awarded the Man of the Year by the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society of the Palm Beaches. He is South Florida Business Journal’s 2012 40 under 40 winner and the 2012 CEO of the year. In 2013 he was named a Distinguished Alumni by the Education Foundation of Palm Beach. When Jason is not busy running a multi-million dollar company and giving back to his community, he can found at his church every Sunday leading the worship music.

Kate Stewart • Chief Marketing Officer

Kate graduated from Indiana University with a BS in Psychology. She’s worked as the Regional Sales Director for a large corporation for over 5 years. As our Chief Marketing Officer, Kate manages and coordinates all our marketing and sales efforts. She also travels throughout the United States attending industry events and conferences featured in Behavioral Sightings. Kate is a wife and mother to her three daughters ages 3, 2 and 1. When she’s not busy networking with behavioral healthcare and addiction recovery professionals, she enjoys spending time with her family.

Daniel Potter • Creative Director

Daniel graduated from Walla Walla College with a BA in Commercial Art. He opened his own design company at age 23 and has contracted with companies such as Walt Disney, Levi and Sports Afield Apparel. He has also worked for a publishing firm as their lead designer for 4 years before being promoted to Creative Curriculum Director. Recently, Daniel has worked in the magazine and print design industry for luxury lifestyle magazines as Creative Director, designer and web designer. He is also a photographer and worked for over 6 years as a commercial video director, editor and set designer. As our Creative Director, Daniel is in charge of all creative direction, layout and design. When Daniel isn’t busy in front of his computer, he enjoys freelance photography, a variety of sports and personal art projects.

Kelly Lindsey • Project Manager

Kelly graduated from the University of Dayton with a degree in Marketing. She coordinates the work of our production team and is in charge of collecting all deliverables for each issue of the magazine. She also acts as our chief brand ambassador while engaging with current fans and finding new followers for all our social media accounts. Kelly also helps keep our creative team organized when they attend local, regional, and national events and conferences. She is originally from Pittsburgh, PA and recently moved to sunny south Florida to be closer to friends and family.

 

Eric Inge • Vice President of Sales

Eric has extensive experience as a top performing sales executive from the eight years he spent as a Senior Sales Consultant at Paychex. After that position, he accepted the role of Vice President at Jordan Dynamics. Eric now brings his business expertise and vision to Behavioral Sightings. An avid Crossfit athlete, Eric is energized by his wife and two daughters who keep his weekends full by coaching travel softball. He is actively involved in the community and in 2013 was named “Man of the Year” by the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society.

Lynn Smythe • Senior Content Manager

Lynn got her start in journalism writing articles for a variety of print magazines and yearly anthologies including Altered Arts, Beadwork, Lapidary Journal, The Herb Quarterly, Back Home, The Old Farmer’s Almanac and Llewellyn’s Herbal Almanac. Her latest venture involves publishing some of her earlier works, in eBook format, to Amazon’s Kindle platform. When she’s not busy playing with words, Lynn participates in long distance running and cycling events to help support non-profit charity organizations such as the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society and the Multiple Sclerosis Foundation.
